Case Sensitive is a group of talented young musicians that play a mixture of progressive rock style music inspired by musicians such as Frank Zappa, Yes, and King Crimson. The band also plays original music.

Lucas, the 13-year-old seventh grader and a founding member of Case Sensitive, is an outstanding guitarist.  He has a keen knowledge of the fretboard that results in surprising solo and improvisational style. In addition to guitar, Lucas also provides the vocals for Case Sensitive and plays keyboard for the group as well.  Lucas also drums in the middle school band, and has drummed in various jazz ensembles and rock groups.  Link to Lucas's website.

Chris, a 14year-old sophomore, plays saxophone for Case Sensitive. Chris is an accomplished saxophone player with an amazing improvisational ability that helps round out the melodies. Chris also plays keyboard for the group.  In addition, Chris plays saxophone in his high school concert and marching band, as well as the jazz ensemble.

Anthony, a 15-year-old sophomore and a founding member of the band, plays bass guitar for Case Sensitive. Anthony is a talented bass player who has diverse skills to match the many styles of music the bands plays. 

Rounding out Case Sensitive is 16-year-old junior, Julia, on drums.  Julia is a skillful drummer that plays tenors in her high school's marching band drum line and is a percussionist in the concert band.

Case Sensitive provides a fun, eclectic performance.  Case Sensitive has played at The Hudson Schools Rally,  The Kent Heritage Fest, and The Taste of Hudson.  Members of the group have performed as soloists or with other groups at Mangiamo, The Winchester, The Kent Stage, Stow-Hudson Relay for Life, The Akron-Summit County Library's Teens Rock Akron , Scott's Folkatorium, The Kent Bicentennial Parade, Kent's Art in the Park, and The Kent State Folk Festival.
